Advantage are currently recruiting for a Sawyer/ FLT Reach driver on behalf on one of our clients based in the Leeds area. This will be a temporary role with a view of going permanent after 12 weeks.
The main duties for the Sawyer/ FLT Reach driver role is to operate the saw(s) to provide a full cut to size service and assist with unloading and loading vehicles, stock housing and general warehouse tasks.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
" Operate saw(s) and adhere to cutting schedule making sure materials are correctly cut and packed to the customer's specifications
" Ensure all stock is correctly unloaded, checked and stored in the correct locations
" Carry out all daily saw(s) maintenance and safety checks
" Maintain the Saw blade management system to ensure constant availability of sharpened blades
" Assist with the picking of goods in preparation for loading to ensure that we achieve an "on time and in good condition" delivery service
