A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a bright, confident and enthusiastic individual to work as a Finance Assistant, in a dynamic, growing company based in North Yorkshire. As finance assistant you will support the finance team in maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function.
The key responsibilities are; Process purchase invoices; Raise ad-hoc sales invoices and support with raising bulk sales invoices; Open and distribute post; Set up new customers and suppliers on XERO accounting system; Monthly clearance of outstanding POs/SOs from XERO; Completing new supplier paperwork (with support/input as required); Processing payments through the online banking platform; Assistance with quarterly and annual management accounts and auditing as required; Support with credit control; Back-up to dealing with finance-related queries internally and externally; Support with end of month processes e.g. checking sales spreadsheets, ensure all bank transactions are reconciled, comple...
