Behaviour Support Assistant North Leeds

I am currently working with a mainstream secondary school in North Leeds, who are looking for a behaviour support assistant for a full-time role starting as soon as possible.

Following exclusion, this student is being integrated into a new secondary school, in order to make this transition successful the school are recruiting a behaviour support specialist to work 1-1 with this student at all times.

This role will involve, managing and de-escalating challenge behaviour as well as offering pastoral and nurturing support for the student. You will work closely with the student within their lessons as well as hold 1-1 intervention session, you may be responsible for liaising with parents and senior leadership. The aim of this role is to promote more positive behavioural patterns, help to maintain the safety of the student and other students, maintain the student's attendance within a mainstream setting.
