Audit Officer
6 Month contract
Location: Leeds (remote working)
Rate: £200 per day

Role Overview:
To work in the Assurance & Risk Management directorate in the Clients audit team to provide support to team leaders and lead auditors on DPO audits, internal audits to assess this NHS Client's compliance to GDPR, Data protection and it's own internal policies
Data Sharing - external audits of data recipients to ensure they are meeting the terms of their data sharing agreements and that shared data is protected.

Essential skills/experience required:
Audit and Assurance
An Audit qualification/certification
Practical experience of auditing, information governance and information security
Preferably have previous experience of working within the health & social care sector
Knowledge and application of formal audit framework eg: ISO 19011: 2011 guidelines
